Comments from the public on agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being considered or during multiple agenda items comment(if any). Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the agenda that are within the Board's jurisdiction will be heard during the General Public Comment period. Please note that under the Brown Act, the Board is prevented from acting on a matter that you bring to its attention during the General Public Comment period; however, the issue raised by a member of the public may become the subject of a future Board meeting.

RNC Art Box Project Phase II (All) (15 minutes) i. Discussion and possible action to approve up to $1000 for the cost of art supplies for Phase II of the RNC Art Box Project. ii. Discussion and possible action to approve Louis Barreto as the independent artist for Phase II of the RNC Art Box Project. iii. Discussion and possible action to approve locations for two art boxes for Phase II of the RNC Art Box Project. i. Potential locations: White Oak Ave. and Sherman Way (NW corner); Vanalden Ave. and Sherman Way (NE corner); Reseda Blvd. and Sherman Way (SE corner); and Tampa Ave. and Sherman Way (SW corner) B. RNC Art Box Project Phase II Next Steps (All) (35 minutes) i. Discussion and possible action to decide the timeline and collaboration process between the independent artist and student contest winners for painting the selected designs on public utility boxes. (10 minutes) i. Discussion and possible action to determine the format of the official “reveal” of the completed Phase II art boxes. The reveal is an opportunity to publicly recognize the student art contest winners. (25 minutes) C. Discussion and possible action to consider creating a short form containing just the upcoming meetings and agendas as a means to engage more stakeholders (Garth) (10 minutes)
